Jim Duriga

Jim Duriga An American author who wrote "Traveling at Warp Seven: In Search of Star Trek". It is now in its 4th edition, and includes interviews with James Doohan, Eric Stillwell, Bjo Trimble, Jennifer Porter and others along with episode guides, trivia, and a variety of other information.

Duriga is a Vietnam era Army veteran who holds a Master's Degree in English (from California State University, Bakersfield, California), and an honorary Phd in Religion (from the Universal Life Church). He presently resides in Bakersfield, California where he operates a publishing company Seneca-Secor Books which works to get unknown authors into print.

* "The Monkees: An Outsider's Perspective" (an unofficial look at four decades of the Monkees)

His poems and articles have appeared in "Army in Europe" magazine, "Atlantis" magazine, the "Of Thee I Sing" poetry anthology, the "Poetry Coast to Coast" poetry anthology, the "Sandstone and Starshine" poetry anthology, the "Dolphins and Tin Cans" poetry anthology and others.

He also created and drew "Leroy", a cartoon strip which appeared in several college papers in the early 70s and has occasionally appeared in various places since.
