Introduction

The Eels Rugby League Club are located in Adelaide, South Australia. We are part of the South Australian Rugby League Competition. Our home ground is at Lindblom Park, Quinlivan Road Pooraka.

History

The Eels Rugby League Club was formed in January 2004 as a result of a merger between Golden Grove Junior Rugby League Club and Parra Districts Rugby League Club.

About the club

The Eels Rugby League Club is run as a community-based social and amateur sporting club that offers numerous and varied opportunities to play, administrate, coach, volunteer and support the sport of Rugby League in Adelaide.

We offer junior and senior players an opportunity to compete in a friendly, safe, environment regardless of age, race or ability. The club welcomes all new players, parents, families and friends and promotes fairness within the club, with other clubs and with the governing body of the game, the South Australian Rugby League (SARL).

Past Results

The Eels’ First Grade team won the Grand Final in seasons 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005 and is currently the SARL Senior Club of the Year. They were also minor premiers in 2006.The Reserve Grade side won the 2005 Grand Final
