Sir John Brownlow, 3rd Baronet (died 16 July 1697), was a British Member of Parliament.
Brownlow was the eldest surviving son [ [http://groups.google.com/group/soc.genealogy.medieval/browse_thread/thread/9a4c25f96eb5e6a6#a8ce08b9fc94653e Source that he was not the one born in 1659] ] of Sir Richard Brownlow, 2nd Baronet, and Elizabeth Freke. He succeeded his father as third Baronet of Humby in 1668 and in 1679 he inherited the Belton estates, including Belton House, from his great-uncle Sir John Brownlow, 1st Baronet. In 1689 he was elected to the House of Commons for Grantham, a seat he held until his death in 1697.
Brownlow married Alice, daughter of Richard Sherard, in 1676. He died in July 1697, aged only 38, without surviving male issue. He was succeeded in his title by his younger brother William Brownlow.
