Ssamzie Space

SSamzie Space(www.ssazmiespace.com)was founded in 2000 as a nonprofit, multi-disciplinary, cultural and arts organization to support the cutting-edge progressive artwork of Korea. SSamzie Space works to fulfill the mission of the SSamzie Art Project** which was the precedent project of SSamzie Space, sponsored by Korea’s leading fashion and accessories company SSamzie Co. Ltd. The various alternative programs of SSamzie Space has been quickly becoming an integral part of the Hong-ik University area’s art scene as well as the contemporary art scene of Seoul, Korea.

The Exhibition Program pursues the spirit of the avant-garde, underground, and cross-genre exhibition. The program’s goal is also to promote Korean art on an international scale. One of the programs is SSamzie Space's Artist-in-Residence studio program for national and international artists that facilitates studio workspace and networking opportunity between artists, curators, and art critics of Korea and abroad.
