World's Best Reading

World's Best Reading

"World's Best Reading" is a series of classic books published by Readers Digest starting in 1982. The series was distributed as a mail order membership club and promised to expand the libraries of Readers Digest magazine subscribers. The series began with single annual volumes in 1982 and 1983, then expanded to bi-monthly editions for years 1984-1995, and is published approximately every six weeks through 2008. The series is still in print. Many of the earlier editions included specially commissioned artwork, and are ornately illustrated. Each volume included a small paper pamphlet with a biography of the author.

There exists no official publication list at Reader's Digest, making this collection very difficult to collect.
