Author and Illustrator of the Seadog Adventures [http://www.seadogs.com.au/seadogs_home.html] series of children's books. The second child of five, Annie O'Dowd grew up in rural Western Queensland on her family's large sheep property, Mahrigong. The family moved to Brisbane following a period of prolonged drought on the property.

Annie attended St Margaret's Anglican Girls School, Clayfield, where the Seadogs were first envisaged.

The first two Seadog Adventures 'Left Shoe and the Foundling' and 'Marigold and the Dark' were published by Pan MacMillan Australia in 2005. The Third title, 'Sea Gem and the Land of Ice' was published in 2006. Book Four, 'Tumblegrass and the Bushfire' was released in April 2008.

The first three titles are also published in the UK by the National Maritime Museum
