James Eugene Wohlford (born February 28, 1951 in Visalia, California) was a major league outfielder in baseball. In his 15-year career, he played for the Kansas City Royals (1972-76), the Milwaukee Brewers (1977-79), San Francisco Giants (1980-82), and Montreal Expos (1983-86). Although Wohlford was on the Cincinnati Reds during 1987, Wohlford never played a major league game with the team. Wohlford was primarily a backup outfielder, used mainly for his good fielding skills. His best performance was with the 1974 Kansas City Royals, when he had a batting average of .271. 1974 was the only year Wohlford ever had more than 500 at bats. He had a .260 career batting average.
