Alimamy Okomi Sesay (born March 24, 1987 in Freetown, Sierra Leone) is a Sierra Leonean international footballer currently playing as a winger for Kallon F.C. in the Sierra Leone National Premier League, the top football league in Sierra Leone.

Profile

Alimamy Sesay, commonly known by his nickname Okomi was born and raised in Freetown to Temne parents. Between the year 2001 to 2003 Okomi was rated as one of the best teenage footballers in Sierra Leone. He joined top Sierra Leonean football club F.C. Kallon in 2003 at the age of 16. During his first season in the Sierra Leone National Premier League, he was named the best young player in the Priemier League under the age of 23 and was among the best players overal in the Premier League. Alimamy Sesay help Kallon won their first Premier League championship in 2006 season and will also feature for them in the 2006-2007 CAF Champions League. Alimamy Sesay is more commonly known as Okomi in Sierra Leone.

International career

Sesay was a key player fot the Sierra Leone under-17 team that took second place behind Cameroon at the 2003 African-17 Championship turnament held in [Swaziland. He also played in all three games for Sierra Leone at the2003 FIFA U-17 World Championship in Finland. He made his senior internationa debut for Sierra Leone on October 7, 2006 as the Leone Stars were defeated 2-0 away in Benin in a 2008 African Nations Cup qualifier.
