Wahid Qasemi (PerB|وحید قاسمی) is an Tajik singer of Afghanistan. His popularity soared in the late 1980s when he first emerged into music scene of Afghanistan. He is also regarded for his affable personality that his fans claim have absorbed his critics. Qasemi is the grandson of a famous Tajik singer of Afghanistan, who served as the official artist to the royal court. Qasemi is a traditional musical artist, specializing in the Kharabati style of "Khurasanian-Persian" or "Indo-Persian" classical music.

He is the great-grandson of Qasemjo, Son of Sitarjo. Qasem Jo is the founder of modern classical music Orchestra in Radio Kabul at 1930.

After the fall of Soviet backed government, he emigrated to Germany from where he moved to the United States. He now lives in Canada, continuing his career from that there. Mr. Qasemi has returned to Afghanistan several times, working on preserving traditional central asian Persian´s musical styles. He collaborated with "Troubadour Productions" to produce "Qu Qu Qu, Barge Chinar: Children's Songs from Afghanistan",a children's songbook capturing traditional children's songs. The book has lyrics, musical notes, and an accompanying CD.
