Brennen Caldwell

Brennen Daye Caldwell is a major character in Kathy Tyers' "Firebird" series of books. He is a powerful Ehretan telepath and successful Federate officer.

Personality

Biography

Brennen was recognized very early to have strong Ehretan talents. He underwent Master Sentinel training at an early age and became a rising star in the Federate military special forces.

The Caldwell family is heir to a special prophecy. Upon the sundering of the Sentinels from their Shuhr brethren, the family changed its name from Carabohd in an attempt to protect themselves. Both Brennen's father and grandfather were the only male survivors of attempts to stop the prophecy by eradicating the family.

Brennen was a wing colonel at the time of Netaia's unprovoked attack on Veroh and leads its defense. He forces down a fighter piloted by Firebird Angelo, whom he rescues and interrogates.
