The Suryeo Line is a former narrow-gauge railway line owned by Korean National Railroad. This line connected Suwon to Yeoju. Suryeo Line was abandoned in May 31, 1973.

Route

Suwon - Hwaseong - Weoncheon - Singal - Eojeong - Yongin - Mapyeong - Yangji - Jeil - Ocheon - Pogyo - Yusan - Icheon - Muchon - Jukdang - Maeryu - Gwangdaeri - Yeonrari - Yeoju

Future

Ministry of Construction and Transportation or Korail does not have reconstruction plan of whole Suryeo Line. But, as a part of Jungbunaeryuk Line construction, Yeoju will have railroad connection with Seongnam and Chungju.

Rolling stocks

Suryo line uses narrow gauge Steam locomotive, narrow gauge freight car, KNR160 diesel car and KNR18000 passenger car. After closing of this line, all rolling stocks were send to Suin Line. KNR160 and KNR18000 are reserved and now in Korean Railroad Museum in Uiwang.
