History

SMK Seksyen 10 Kota Damansara was established in 2001. However, due to delayed construction the school was actual officially opened and inherited in 2002. The first badge of students had to share the same school with SK Seksyen 6 Kota Damansara.

Enrollment and Academics

SMK Seksyen 10 is an ethnically diverse school but the majority of the students are Malays, then followed by Indians, Chinese and others.

It's Academic achievements is probably the best in the Kota Damansara area.

Athletics

SMK S10 has enjoyed a lot of success in sports and athletics since it was opened. Football is where they've enjoyed most of their success, having been champions of the school u-18 tournament for 2 straight years in '05 and '06. They were also losing finalists in '04. One of the main reasons why the school is so dominant in football is because the majority of the school's players are from the KDFC, a local football club in Kota Damansara.

In 2006, the school introduced a new sport in hopes of enjoying more success like they did with football. For the first time ever, rugby was introduced. Despite only training for 2 months, the school rugby team managed to go as far as the semifinals in the Petaling Jaya schools u-18 rugby tournament.

In athletics, SMK S10 has also enjoyed success. Some of the best cross country runners are former students of SMK S10.
