- Greifswald International Students' Festival
The Greifswald International Students Festival is an event organised by GrIStuF e.V. in the Hanseatic city of Greifswald,
Germany .These festivals includes different activities such as: thematic workshops, cultural events, exhibitions, parties and concerts. The thematic range includes political, art, social and cultural topics.

GrIStuF e.V. is an association founded "ad hoc" for the organization of the Greifswald Students' Festivals although it organises other local events such as the local
running dinner . It is a non-profit organization formed mainly by Greifswald local volunteers.2002
In 2002 inspired by the
Ilmenau Students Festival [http://iswi.org/iswiworld/e-1-1.html] a group of enthusiastic students organised the first Greifswald International Students Festival.2005 "Touch the World"
An organisation team formed itself and began planning the [http://www.gristuf.org/index.php?id=153,0,0,1,0,0 Second Festival] in 2005. The topics of 2005 Festival included:
Green Globalization ,Conflicts , Migration,Development Cooperation ,Intercultural learning andBioethics .Officially 271 students from all over the world followed this invitation. Not as many as expected showed up due to visa problems.
2006 "Project U-rope: Utopia or Reality"
Project U-rope: utopia or reality was the motto chosen for this year since only students living in Europe were invited this time.
Gesine Schwan was the patroness and sent a recorded video in the presentation.Officially more than 400 participants took part in the 2006 year's Festival.
The workshops and Panel Discussions embraced the following topics:

* Meeting of the Europeans
* Arts & Crafts Market
* Excursions to the Region
* Panel Discussions
* League of Culture

Next Festival will be held in 2008 not to coincide with the 2007 Ilmenau's Festival and avoid low participation risks.
