Mariano Macaluso

Mariano Macaluso

Mariano "Mac" Macaluso (b. June 7, 1912) was a New York City mobster and member of the Lucchese crime family. Not much is known about Macaluso's early years. In 1986, after family boss Anthony Corallo was sentenced to 100 years in prison in the Mafia Commission case, and replaced by Vittorio Amuso, Macaluso became underboss and served in that position until being replaced by Anthony Casso.

On January 7, 1999, Macaluso was released from federal prison.
