Bahram Aryana

Bahram Aryana (1906-1985) was a top Iranian military commander in the Pahlavi II era of Iran.

He was Georgian by descent, educated at École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr, and was instrumental in many of the nationalist policies in the 1950-1960s.After the occupation of Iran by the Soviet Union and the United Kingdom in 1941 (World War II), he went on with armed struggle and resisted the occupation. He created the Kabud Party in detention.
