Apartheid in Bahrain
He is an outspoken critic of Apartheid in Bahrain, telling the Los Angeles Times in 2011 that the government of Bahrain runs a system of "apartheid... They've made a decision that half the population is not wanted, and they want to instill fear in this population and dehumanize them."[4]
