June 10 ,1983 inWellington ,New Zealand ) is a New Zealand television presenter and a former Miss World New Zealand.Peebles grew up in Karaka and resided there when she was crowned Miss World New Zealand
2003 . Due to an issue with theMiss World licence-holders in New Zealand, Peebles was not permitted to represent her country that year at the finals. Instead, she was sent to Miss International2003 inJapan .With the licence shifting to former Miss New Zealand, Marina McCartney, the following year, Peebles was asked to represent her country at Miss World in
Sanya ,China , in2004 , meaning that she was the official Miss World New Zealand for two years.Peebles has managed to use her beauty-queen status to springboard a career in
