Adam Michael Curry (born
August 7 ,1984 ) is an inventor and filmmaker in Colorado. He is best known for his 2006 co-release of "Bad Seed," a documentary about industrialized food production. The film got poor reviews from critics, but did enjoy some success after its feature inThe New York Times .
In 2001 Curry invented a device to try to forecastearthquakes . Between 2002 and 2003, he was lauded by theUS Congress , theOffice of Navel Research , and was a 2002 recipient of theCERES Connection Prize , for which theMIT Lincoln Laboratory named anasteroid after him. The asteroid is named "Adamcurry" and is located in theasteroid belt betweenMars andJupiter . Apparently, Curry was not involved in any further scientific work.References
