Adam Michael Curry

Adam Michael Curry (born August 7, 1984) is an inventor and filmmaker in Colorado. He is best known for his 2006 co-release of "Bad Seed," a documentary about industrialized food production. The film got poor reviews from critics, but did enjoy some success after its feature in The New York Times.

In 2001 Curry invented a device to try to forecast earthquakes. Between 2002 and 2003, he was lauded by the US Congress, the Office of Navel Research, and was a 2002 recipient of the CERES Connection Prize, for which the MIT Lincoln Laboratory named an asteroid after him. The asteroid is named "Adamcurry" and is located in the asteroid belt between Mars and Jupiter. Apparently, Curry was not involved in any further scientific work.
