NEWSTALK 1080am KUDO is a commercial radio station in Anchorage, Alaska. The station is an affiliate of the Air America, CNN Radio and New York Yankees radio networks. Along with local news, KUDO also airs programming from the Nova M and Jones Radio Networks.
KUDO is owned by the International Brotherhood of Workers 1547, a local union representing nearly 5,000 Alaskan men and women in communities stretching from Barrow to Ketchikan in a diverse range of job classifications, from nuclear medical technician, to electrician, to librarian. It is managed by Tati Broadcasting (TB), a company of six radio stations; three owned by TB (KZND, KNIK, KABA) and three managed by the company (KLEF, KMVV, KUDO.) KUDO is lead by Program Director Cary Carrigan and News Director Kathy Phillips. The two have over 40 years of combined experience in broadcasting.
