Jordy Hultberg, a former LSU
basketball player (1976-80) and assistant basketball coach under Dale Brown (1980-83), is thesideline reporter for the LSU Sports Radio Network as well as theNew Orleans Hornets onCox Sports Television . Hultberg also serves as the host of Inside LSU Football withLes Miles , while continuing to host the LSU Sports Journal.Athletic career
Hultberg was a
shooting guard at LSU on Dale Brown's teams from 1976-1980. He was noted for his long shots before there was a three-point line incollege basketball . After playing under Brown for four years, he became one of his assistant coaches from 1980-1983.Journalism career
In 1983, Jordy began his journalism career as a
color commentator for the (then) newly developed LSUpay-per-view system known as "Tigervision". He is a sideline reporter for both the LSU Sports Radio Network broadcasts and theCox Sports Television broadcasts of the LSU football games. He also hosts a show on the LSU Sports Radio Network entitled LSU Sunday Night Live. As well as his duties with LSU, Hultberg carries out sideline and hosting duties on behalf of theNBA 'sNew Orleans Hornets . He is also host of the Hornets Tonight pregame show and the Byron Scott Coaches Show on Cox Sports Television.He also hosts a local radio show inBaton Rouge, LA called "Jordy and the Other Guy" on The Score 1210 AM in Baton Rouge from 7-9am Monday through Friday.Personal
