Henry Curgenven

Henry Curgenven

Henry Curgenven (December 22, 1875February 14, 1959) was an English cricketer. He played for Derbyshire between 1896 and 1897, and for Cambridge University in 1897. Curgenven was born in Derby.

Curgenven debuted in 1896 in a draw against Essex. However, over two seasons he only averaged 9.50 with the bat and was occasionally expensive with the ball. He played just four matches in the winless 1897 County Championship season for Derbyshire, as well as two University Matches for Cambridge University.

Curgenven was a lower-order batsman during his first-class career. His brother, Gilbert and father William also played first-class cricket for Derbyshire.
