Dave Clark is an American politician and Banker from Utah. A Republican, he is a member of the Utah State House, representing the state's 74th house district in Santa Clara. He currently serves as the Majority Leader in the Utah House.

Early Life and Career

David Clark was born in Provo, UT on July 3, 1953. Clark and his wife Nan have four children and live in Santa Clara. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. Clark ran unopposed for the State House in the 2000 General election having defeated Victor Iverson in the Republican Primary by a margin of 51% to 49% and has been subsequently been re-elected. He has been recognized by numerous newspapers and colleagues as the "smartest" man on the hill.
