Non Narai ( _th. โนนนารายณ์) is a district ("Amphoe") of Surin Province, northeastern Thailand.

History

The minor district ("King Amphoe") was established on July 1 1997, when five "tambon" were split from Rattanaburi district. Following a decision of the Thai government on May 15 2007, all of the 81 minor districts were to be upgraded to full districts. Geography

Neighboring districts are (from the south clockwise) Samrong Thap, Sanom and Rattanaburi of Surin Province, and Mueang Chan of Sisaket Province.

Administration

The district is subdivided into 5 subdistricts ("tambon"), which are further subdivided into 67 villages ("muban"). There are no municipal ("thesaban") areas, and further 5 Tambon administrative organizations (TAO).
