1966 NBA Playoffs

The 1966 NBA Playoffs was the postseason tournament of the National Basketball Association's 1965-1966 season. The tournament concluded with the Eastern Conference champion Boston Celtics defeating the Western Conference champion Los Angeles Lakers, four games to three in the NBA Finals.

The Celtics won their eighth consecutive, and ninth overall, NBA championship, defeating the Lakers in the Finals for the fifth straight time.

This would be the last NBA playoff tournament made under the "top team in each conference gets a first-round bye" format established in 1955; the 1967 NBA Playoffs would feature an eight-team tournament with no first-round byes.
