Mutant Soul Records
Paulo formed Mutant Soul Records in 2001 with Phil. This label was the antidote to the fast techno world of Access 58. The duo has teamed up with classical / jazz trained Portuguese keyboardist Nuno Filipe for the Jaam project, a cross between downtempo, house, broken beat and jazz. They released a series of 12" called "Blue Series EPs" before Phil departed to Switzerland and Nuno to Portugal in 2003 , to concentrate on solo projects. The releases featuring
Erik Truffaz , Eska, Etmo and Simbad also grabbed excellent remixes by Gerd, Rollercone, Alex Attias, Jimpster and Shur-I-Kan. Their records were very well received by the press and were played and charted by DJs such as: Gilles Petterson, Charles Webster, Laurent Garnier and others.Discography
