Full Circle is one of Barbara Dickson's occasional albums of folk music. It is so solemn that it received some of the poorest reviews of her recent career, particularly from fans expecting optimistic power ballads. At least three of the tracks would not be out of place in a recital of classical songs - particularly the Purcell song, which has Neil Drinkwater playing classical piano on it, and Dickson singing difficult chromatic scales. For lovers of art-song this is a rare treasure. Donockley's production has given a doomy epic sweep to the traditional Child Ballad "The Unquiet Grave". Only the track "Faithless Love" has a pop quality about it, and seems out of place.Produced by Troy Donockley. Running time: 47 minutes 43 seconds. Recorded 2004.
