Sir Edward Irby, 1st Baronet

Sir Edward Irby, 1st Baronet (c. 1684 – 11 November 1718) was an English politician.

The son of Anthony Irby and Mary Stringer, and grandson of Sir Anthony Irby, he was Member of Parliament (MP) for Boston from 1702 to 1708. On 13 April 1704, he was created a Baronet, of Whapload and Boston in the County of Lincolnshire. He died intestate in Kingscliffe, Northamptonshire and was buried on 11 November 1718 in Whaplode, Lincolnshire.

In 1706, Irby married Dorothy Paget, daughter of Henry Paget, a son of the 5th Baron Paget de Beaudesert. Their own son became the 1st Baron Boston.
