The Siberian Elm "Ulmus pumila" cultivar 'Pyramidalis Fiorei' was raised by the Charles Fiorei Nurseries of Prairie View, Illinois, circa 1957 as a clone from a tree growing in nursery grounds circa 1950 Green, P. The tree was described as being "strictly pyramidal" in form.
