"El Diario de Hoy" ("Today's Newspaper") is a national daily newspaper published in
San Salvador ,El Salvador , one of the two dailies of highest circulation in theCentral America n country. Established in 1936, the Spanish-language paper is generally associated with a politically conservative and pro-government orientation, although the Center for Research Libraries notes as of 2006 that "recent trends show an attempt to provide a balanced and objective approach to the news."
