August 2 1943 ) is a government figure in Italy and the current ambassador toIndia .Early life
He was born in 1943. He went to
Stanford University as aFulbright scholar in 1962-63 and graduated in Law from the University of Rome in 1967.Career
He served in many government offices during the early 70's including the foreign and Prime minister's offices. During the 1980s he served in many foreign affairs posts including the CSCE from 1988-1992. His ambassadorships began in 1993 when he went to London. He subsequently became ambassador to

During Armellini's tenure, he has worked on strengthening the ties in manufacturing between the two countries.
