Alan Caves (born January 5, 1966 in Hillingdon) is an English darts player who plays in the Professional Darts Corporation. He is nicknamed 'The Caveman'.

Caves was widely known for having one of the worst televised records of all-time, losing in the first round of nearly every major televised tournament. That dubious honour ended in the 2007 PDC World Darts Championship, he beat crowd favourite Wayne Mardle in the first round, he eventually lost in the second round to twice semi-finalist Dave Askew.

His best run came at the 2004 UK Open, reaching the last 16, losing to Alan Warriner.
