Alexis Petridis

Alexis Petridis

Alexis Petridis is the chief music writer for UK newspaper "The Guardian", as well as a regular contributor to the magazine "GQ". He was the final editor of now defunct music magazine "Select"; he also writes a weekly column in the fashion section of "The Guardian"s Weekend section. Petridis has attracted both praise and criticism. In November 2006 he won an award in the "Artist and Music Features: Writer Of The Year" category at the Record of the Day awards.
