Academic and commercial organizations are charged based on number of users.Crowd connects to multiple LDAP servers such as Microsoft Active Directory, and integrates legacy user repositories. Crowd was originally designed and developed by Authentisoft (a
Minneapolis -based software company) under the brand of IDX (Identity Exchange), and is now actively maintained byAtlassian Software Systems who acquired Authentisoft in July 2006.External links
