Helen Corning

Helen Corning

Helen Corning Archer is a character in the popular Nancy Drew mystery series. She was the first one to be the chum of Nancy in solving mysteries but is replaced by Bess Marvin and George Fayne. She appears in the books sometimes. She marries Jim Archer, and consequently can no longer help Nancy. According to the books Helen is 21 when Nancy is 18 thus making her 3 years older than her. Helen was mentioned in one Nancy Drew Girl Detective book called "Stop the Clock". In one of the Nancy Drew Books, Helen rides with Nancy on a raft.
