- Herbert Collins
Herbert Collins (born 1885, died 1975) was a British
architect . He designed many of the suburban developments in the city ofSouthampton in the 1920s and 1930s, and co-founded theSwaythling Housing Society on 26th November 1925.Collins' housing estates have a distinctive style, usually with rows of terraced houses set around wide areas of greenery.
