State Route 297 is a north-south state route located in the east-central part of the U.S. state of Georgia. The route travels from State Route 130/State Route 292 in Vidalia to U.S. Route 1/State Route 4 south of Swainsboro

Routing

From its southern terminus at State Route 130 and State Route 292 in Vidalia, State Route 297 travels north through rural portions of Toombs County. After its intersection with State Route 298, the route exits Toombs County and straddles the Treutlen-Emanuel County line. The route intersects State Route 46, then Interstate 16, before crossing the Ohoopee River and entering Emanuel County proper. The route continues north to its northern terminus at U.S. Route 1/State Route 4 south of Swainsboro.
