Sovereign Stakes

The Sovereign Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the United Kingdom open to thoroughbred colts and geldings which are three-years-old or above. It is run over a distance of 1 mile at Salisbury Racecourse and takes place annually in August.

First run in 2000, the race was initially classed at Listed level. It was upgraded to Group 3 status in 2004.
