Glastonbury , UK, consisting of singer and songwriter Jesse Budd, pianist/organist Joe Atkinson, drummer Mike Chitty and bassist Greg Shepheard. They were signed to Tiny Dog Records in 2003, the former bassist being Mark Wingfield.They have released three albums, "Fancy Blues and Rustique Novelties" in 2004 "Biscuits for Cerberus" in 2006 and "Gravity Calling" in 2008.
They have also released 3 singles, "Hanging Round The Lean-To With Grandad" (2006), "The End Of Summer/Raindrops Keep Falling On The Dead" (2006) and "Dogboy Vs Monsters" (2007).The 4th single, "Book Of Lies/Mess It up" was released in September 2008 with a new single due later in the year.
Their music has been likened to
Tom Waits ,Syd Barrett andThe Kinks .The band appeared at many UK festivals in 2007 and 2008 including the Leftfield and Avalon Stages at the
Glastonbury Festival .They have finished recording their 3rd album, "Gravity Calling" at Chris Jagger's Somerset studio with former
The Damned drummer,Rat Scabies producing.(Due for release Autumn 2008). The album is thought to be more diverse and according to Budd, "The next step in our fiery handsome ladder towards mainstream stardom."In November 2008 they will be embarking on a co-headling UK tour with Birmingham's
