Alwyn Eato (born Alwyne Eato;
February 13 ,1929 ) was an Englishcricket er. He was a right-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler who played for Derbyshire. He was born inDuckmanton .Eato made his debut for Derbyshire in 1950, though he waited almost exactly a year before his next appearance, as the team finished the 1951 season in eleventh place. Eato's first and only five-wicket innings came during this season, against Leicestershire.
He spent the whole of the 1952 season out of the game, rejoining in the moderately successful 1953 season, in which Derbyshire finished in sixth place. During this season Eato was an infrequent starter, and as the following season approached, he was on the sidelines for the vast majority of the time, playing only seven County Championship games in his last two seasons with the team.
Eato was a tailender batsman during the early years of the 1950s along with two-time England Test bowler
