Louis Flint

Louis Flint

Louis Flint (January 10, 1895 — April 3, 1958) was an English cricketer. He was a left-handed batsman and a right-arm medium-fast bowler who played for Derbyshire. He was born in Ripley.

A lower-middle-order batsman immediately following the re-institution of the County Championship after the First World War in 1919, Flint only lasted two seasons within the side, as Derbyshire's disastrous 1920 season saw them score zero points in the County Championship, despite bringing in a whole crop of new talent.

Despite bowling heavily in the matches in which he was involved, Flint's batting average was low and he was removed from the team. He died in Sutton-in-Ashfield at the age of 63.
