August 29 1892 -August 14 1972 ) was an Americananimator . He is best known for his work atFleischer Studio , especially on the Betty Boop version of "Snow White".Crandall was born in
New Canaan, Connecticut , and attended theYale School of Art [Thorndike, Chuck (1939).
