International Commission for Alpine Rescue

International Commission for Alpine Rescue

The International Commission for Alpine Rescue (IKAR) is located in in Switzerland and is a working group of the national mountain rescue organizations. President is at present a Swiss national, Toni Grab.

IKAR is divided into four commissions:
* Soil rescue
* Flight rescue
* Avalanches
* Alpine medicine
