King George Stakes

King George Stakes

The King George Stakes is a Group 3 flat horse race in the United Kingdom for three-year-old and above thoroughbreds. It is run over a distance of 5 furlongs (1,006 metres) at Goodwood Racecourse during the Glorious Goodwood meeting in late July or early August.

It was first run in 1911 and is named after King George V, whose coronation took place that year.
