Bromwich Castle

Bromwich Castle

Bromwich Castle was in the large village now called Castle Bromwich in the West Midlands.

The remains of a motte and bailey castle have been largely destroyed by the construction of the M6 motorway. There is evidence for a timber structure on top of the motte and for 12-13th century buildings inside the bailey along with a 16th century house.
