MSDU

MSDU stands for MAC Service Data Unit.

The MSDU is that unit of data that is received from the LLC sub-layer which lies above the MAC sub-layer in a protocol stack. The LLC and MAC sub-layers are collectively referred to as the DLL.

MPDUs is the fragmented form of an MSDU.
