basketball player.Ziegenhorn attended the now-defunct
St. Phillip High School inChicago, Illinois , before starring at theUniversity of Notre Dame during the late 1930s and early 1940s. B5.] . From 1941 to 1946, he played professionally for theSheboygan Redskins of the National Basketball League, a direct predecessor to theNBA .
