Hank Majeski

Henry Majeski (December 13, 1916 - August 9, 1991) born in Staten Island, New York was a Third Baseman for the Boston Bees/Boston Braves (1939-41), New York Yankees (1946), Philadelphia Athletics (1946-49 and 1951-52), Chicago White Sox (1950-51), Cleveland Indians (1952-55) and Baltimore Orioles (1955).

He helped the Indians win the 1954 American League Pennant.

Majeski finished 11th in voting for the 1948 American League MVP for playing in 148 Games and having 590 At Bats, 88 Runs, 183 Hits, 41 Doubles, 4 Triples, 12 Home Runs, 120 RBI, 2 Stolen Bases, 48 Walks, .310 Batting Average, .368 On-base percentage, .454 Slugging Percentage, 268 Total Bases and 2 Sacrifice Hits.

In 13 seasons he played in 1,069 Games and had 3,421 At Bats, 404 Runs, 956 Hits, 181 Doubles, 27 Triples, 57 Home Runs, 501 RBI, 10 Stolen Bases, 299 Walks, .279 Batting Average, .342 On-base percentage, .398 Slugging Percentage, 1,362 Total Bases and 42 Sacrifice Hits.

Majeski died in Staten Island, New York at the age of 74.
