Unterseeboot 70 or U-70 was a Type VIIC German World War II submarine commissioned on 23 November 1940 and served with 7. Unterseebootsflottille (U-Boat Flotilla) from 23 November 1940 until she was sunk. "U-70" completed one patrol and sank one ship totalling 820 Gross Registered Tonnage or GRT and damaged three ships totalling 20,484 GRT. U-70 was sunk on 7 March 1941 southeast of Iceland by the British corvettes HMS "Camellia" and HMS "Arbutus".
