West Ella is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, England and is located approximately Convert|6|mi|km|lk=on west of the city of Kingston upon Hull. It is situated on the east side of the A164 road. On the other side of the A164 road is Swanland. Together with the adjacent village of Kirk Ella it forms the civil parish of Kirk Ella and West Ella. While it has no shops, it does have a war memorial.
