College Entrance Exam Advisors and Educators (CEEAE)

College Entrance Exam Advisors and Educators (CEEAE) is an organization which was set up in order to address the new needs of students preparing for college admissions in the United States.

The formation of CEEAE is a recognition that there is more than one college entrance exam. Currently, the vast majority of colleges will accept either the SAT or the ACT. Additionally, many schools request or require two or more SAT Subject Tests. Finally, some schools request applicants PSAT or NMSQT scores as well. However, the most common usage of the PSAT/NMSQT scores is for the determination of National Merit Scholarship qualification.

Additionally, CEEAE presents a number of other features relevant to the college entrance exams. One prominent feature is their SAT, ACT, and PSAT preparation book reviews. The reviews are extensive, unbiased and free to everyone. Later this coming year, CEEAE will also begin administering an Educator Proficiency Exam (EPE) in order for prospective students to evaluate tutors' fitness for preparing them for either the SAT or the ACT. Finally, CEE will also begin collecting data for a nationwide statistical profile of college entrance exam preparation in January 2007. The purpose of this census is to actually determine what works for SAT and ACT preparation.
